ZohComms is a hosted platform to make life easier for streamers.
Free as in beer. At least for now. Hopefully long term.
ZohComms got started like a lot of good projects: I encountered something that bothered/irritated me.
My buddy Steve, aka Zohar, is a casual Twitch streamer who has been successful enough to make it to the Twitch affiliate level.
As someone who builds distributed software systems, including web applications, in my day job, it was wild to see how delayed some of his auto-configured community notifications were, such as having posts sent to his Discord and Twitter when his stream went live.
One thing lead to another and I found out that not only were the configured notifications both unreliable and slow, but that Steve was paying for this poor service.
Decided to poke around some and see if we couldn't make things better. Things came together pretty quickly, and, well, we find ourselves in a world where I lauched ZohComms.
